Religion-The Dragon Gods

When the world was created, the creator breathed the 13 gods into life. Each one took both the form of a human and a dragon. These beings were the first and were instructed to take care of the other races. Each one had a power of their own that helped shape the world. Once the other races were created, the gods took care of them as instructed. Some of them were benevolent and adored the other races, some didn’t care either way, and few saw themselves above the other races.

After 10,000 years, the different views of the gods caused a drift in the world. The races oppressed by the gods who saw themselves above the rest revolted, while the gods who adored the different races helped. With the help of these select few gods, the races rose above and sealed the gods’ physical bodies away, most against their will, leaving their consciousness to roam. With this, the era of the gods ended, and the era of the races began.

Today, the 13 religions, one for each god, can be found practiced. Some are practiced freely, such as the religion devoted to the god of light (_____________). Others are practiced in secrete, such as the organization devoted to the god of darkness, (Nuada). Even though the gods are sealed away, there has been rumor of talismans that hold the power when put together to release the seal put on the gods’ physical body, allowing the spirit to once again walk in the material world.
